Mission Statement:
The Mohawk Valley Artists' Guild is a non-profit organization founded to stimulate public awareness and involvement in the arts, to improve the quality of existing art programs and activities, to encourage new art related activities in Plumas County. The Guild also provides fellowship among people with mutual interest in the arts.
Money raised through two major art and craft shows and other events, is awarded to art/music programs in the schools and in the community.
Meetings are held once a month at the Mohawk Valley Resources Center unless otherwise indicated. The Resource Center is located at the intersection of Highways 70 and 89, next to the big barn, on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. from March through November. A variety of art and music related programs are presented at the monthly meetings. Weekend workshops are frequently offered.
